Key Responsibilities:
Working to a weekly cleaning schedule:
Floor Cleaning:
- Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors of various types in designated areas to high standards.
- Carpet cleaning if required.
Sanitisation:
- Sanitize toilets, sinks, and fixtures to maintain a hygienic environment.
Dusting and Polishing:
- Perform dusting and polishing tasks to uphold cleanliness and presentation standards, including high level dusting as required.
Waste & Recycling Management:
- Empty waste bins and replace bin liners.
- Effective recycling of waste into appropriate bins in recycling area.
Stock and Maintenance:
- Stock and maintain cleaning cupboards with necessary supplies.
Equipment Operation:
- Utilize cleaning machinery effectively.
Safety Compliance:
- Comply with all safety policies and procedures related to cleaning tasks.
- Identify and report safety equipment maintenance issues to the Team Leader.
- Report site safety and general site maintenance issues to appropriate site contact.
Task Completion:
- Complete tasks on time with minimal supervision, working to deadlines as per cleaning schedule.
- Complete adhoc and/or reactive cleaning as requested.
Location-specific Tasks:
- Undertake additional cleaning tasks as required based on the specific location.
Essential Requirements for the Role:
- A can-do attitude with the willingness to learn new skills.
- Physically fit for walking, bending, etc within an industrial environment.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Good (spoken) level of English language.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible and reliable.
- Ability to work alone and as part of a team.
