We are looking for a Fixed Term Senior Contracts & Quality Officer to join the Market Analysis Team within Adult Commissioning.
You will be passionate about services for people that are high quality, good value for money and most importantly, make a significant difference in people's lives.
The job will involve: Managing & supporting 2-3 Officers for analysis, negotiation and quality assurance of both sole and jointly commissioned services for Residential, Nursing and Supported Living services for adults in Bristol.
You will provide professional advice and input to colleagues within the People Directorate and external partners to improve health, social care and housing outcomes for the citizens of Bristol through successful market management.
You will be involved in the monitoring and evaluation of services to continually improve their quality and flexibility and expected to take appropriate action in instances of poor performance and value for money. You will develop and maintain effective links with commissioning quality, operational staff, other agencies and providers.
You will need to be creative and flexible in your approach to work and be comfortable working with a wide range of people and being part of a busy team. You will have very strong IT skills and be comfortable using online applications.
You will be able to demonstrate a strong commitment to and understanding of equalities issues, and particularly their relationship to social care. You will also recognise the current challenges for Social Care and their impact on commissioning, performance and quality.
You will be based in City Hall/ working from home but expected to travel throughout Bristol for meetings, workshops etc. You will need to be well-organised and able to work flexibly as part of the Adult Commissioning team and with others.
