Job Requirements/Description

Are you an operations expert with a passion for optimising processes, leveraging data insights, and ensuring top-notch compliance? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you at Foot Anstey, a leading UK law firm! We’re on the hunt for a Legal Operations Analyst to be a key player in revolutionising our internal operations and driving strategic business decisions across the firm.

As our Legal Operations Analyst, you’ll be at the epicentre of our operations, collaborating closely with the Executive Director of Legal Operations. Your mission: to ensure our processes are not only efficient and compliant but also perfectly tuned to meet the needs of our clients and teams. This pivotal role is all about upholding our firm’s high standards, fostering continuous improvement, and delivering invaluable support to our stakeholders.

What you’ll do:

  • Operational Excellence – Analyse and optimise existing workflows to improve efficiency, consistency, and service quality across departments.
  • Data and Performance Insight – Manage data collection and analysis to inform strategic decisions, track key performance indicators, and highlight areas for improvement.
  • Resource Management – Coordinate resources across departments to ensure alignment with business objectives, balancing priorities to meet both client and operational needs.
  • Compliance and Governance – Maintain and monitor adherence to regulatory standards and internal policies, ensuring that compliance remains central to our operations.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration – Work closely with teams across the firm to understand their needs and provide operational support that drives success.

What we’re looking for:

  • Proven experience in a legal operations or similar role within a professional services environment.
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and project management skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities, with the confidence to work across teams and support strategic objectives.
  • Familiarity with compliance standards and experience in data management is highly advantageous.
  • This role offers a one-of-a-kind opportunity to leave your mark on the core operations of our dynamic, forward-thinking, and ambitious organisation. Imagine being at the heart of transformative change, driving efficiency, and shaping the future of operations at a leading UK law firm!

Our offer to you

In return for your efforts, you can expect considerable scope for personal as well as professional development. We encourage people to engage with our popular and well supported coaching and mentoring programmes, which connect you to people right across the firm and at every level. We create space for mental and physical wellbeing with our weekly Lifestyle Hour, 28 days annual leave, a day off for your birthday, private medical insurance, and a sabbatical you can take every 5 years. You can also buy holiday and manage your benefits flexibly using our sophisticated portal to configure your total reward offer according to what you value most. As part of this, you can make ongoing or one-off donations to our charitable foundation and access our CSR programme where you can engage with community-based initiatives (as a team, or individually) twice a year, to give something back where you feel it matters.
