About the Role:
Working as the Personal Lines Manager in the Bath office, you will be required to lead, manage and motivate a team of 6 – 8 personal lines specialist staff. More specific duties will include;

To maintain and develop new and existing personal lines client through planned product offerings and liaison with the marketing department
Monitor and report on key activities and provide relevant management information
Liaise with other departments within the company in order to establish and maintain effective cross selling
Manage all employees reporting to the position
Effectively recruit, train, evaluate, delegate and monitor the team’s activity
Ensure that your team is kept up to date and kept regularly informed of Branch, Divisional and Group progress
Identify and make recommendations as to how systems, procedures and processes can be continually improved
Act as a technical referral point to the team, sharing appropriate knowledge of all relevant products and changes to legislation

Key Skills/Experience Required:
In order to be considered for the opportunity of Personal Lines Manager, you must possess the following;

Previous management/team leading experience
Personal lines product knowledge (including; household and motor as a minimum)
The ability to communicate at all levels with employees, clients, insurers and external suppliers alike
Influential approach with the ability to inspire your team and colleagues
A self – starting attitude with the ability to use initiative
Act decisively using delegated authority to full effect
Articulate and good attention to detail
A minimum of 5 GCSE’s (or equivalent) at grades A – C including Maths & English
Strong PC literacy to include; Word and Outlook
Cert CII qualification would be preferred
