Our Client is a multi-disciplined engineering company with a wide range of experience in oil, gas, petrochemical and water. They are an international market leader in the design and manufacture of control systems.

Essential. Minimum Degree, HNC or HND educated in an engineering or manufacturing discipline with relevant experience in the oil and gas industry. Applicants who do not have these qualifications may also be considered providing they can offer substantial and relevant experience in this field of work. An understanding of conditions of contract and communication and negotiation with commercial personnel, under the supervision of the Aftermarket Services Manager.

Excellent communication skills particularly contracts within other engineering and science disciplines. Previous experience in sales, proposals and project engineering. An eye for detail. Ability to use own initiative, plus good time management skills to meet deadlines. Understanding, interpretation and implementation of QA requirements.

Desirable is knowledge of sourcing materials and equipment to acceptable standards of design, manufacture, testing and certification and ensuring delivery within project programme and cost within budget. Anticipating potential problems by sub-suppliers in accepting purchase order specifications and take corrective action. Excellent administration skills
