Our Client manufactures a broad range of speciality chemicals, which are used for the production of flexible and rigid polyurethane foams. Applications in automotive, furnishings, mattresses and the construction industry. The site is classified as a Top Tier COMAH installation and operates under very strict Environmental permits (IPPC) and HSE regulations.
The role entails Electrical and Instrument support for the site. Technical support to the plant, providing solutions to operating problems. Design and maintenance of process electrical and instrument installations, including supervision of contractors. Develop and implement safety, quality, environmental and profit improvement projects. Keeping records of planned and completed work. Project and Design service for capital projects. Conceive, develop, design and implement plant improvements. Economic analysis, estimation, and project execution. Response to emergency and shutdown situations. Cost reduction. Expertise at preparing process evaluations and project packages. Ability to collect background information on project and arrive at effective solutions. Communicate with various plant groups to implement change.
HNC minimum in Electrical engineering plus 16th editions. Experience in Chemical industry, 415v and 3 phase electrical supply, ATEX and DCS, SAP. The Company has 49 employees with an engineering team of 6, so teamwork is crucial.
Starting end January or beginning of February. Excellent opportunity.
