Job Title: (Contract) iPhone/iOS Application Developer.
Based: Gloucester - the work can be primarily carried out in a home-based capacity, but there'd be a need to work from their Gloucester/Cheltenham office for 2 days per week.
Rate: c.£250-300 per day, negotiable dependent upon experience.
Start Date: ASAP - November/December 2011.
Contract Length: 6 Weeks.
We are currently working alongside a small but growing organisation specialising in the development of Mobile Phone applications (iOS/Android/Windows Mobile) across a variety of industries and sectors. Working in a small team including other developers, graphic designers, artworkers and project managers, you will be tasked with developing cutting-edge applications efficient in their functionality and highly stylish in their design and delivery. You will work on projects from initial requirements gathering stage through to final delivery and App Store application stages.
Given that much of the work will be home-based in nature, it is imperative that you will have demonstrable commercial experience of developing iOS applications and have enough knowledge and experience to work successfully independently.
The organisation is winning new projects within a number of different industries, with organisations seeking to incorporate stylish iPhone(and other Mobile applications) into their overall digital marketing strategies. The company pride themselves in producing and delivering high-class applications and you must also share their ambitions and eye for detail to prove successful within this exciting new role.
They are ideally seeking a Developer with prior commercial experience of developing applications for the business domain. Whilst the successful applicant might have experience with a variety of languages, we feel that it would be highly beneficial for the successful applicant to have had at least some commercial exposure of working with Objective-C.
With the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, the successful applicant will not only have the opportunity to work with iPhone/Objective-C development, but also to shape and plan the products to be developed from an early stage. This is a highly exciting opportunity to work closely with a small but very experienced and personable development team.
